Now that there are no longer any real events like there were in the pre-Covid era, events companies and people really have to think outside the box more than ever to keep their industry alive.
This is something that Dom Whiting of Audio Venom has done. Instead of people going to the music, he is bringing the music to the people.
Tour de Wycombe was a two-man cyclist-DJ hybrid that went around the town of High Wycombe, UK, bringing music and a bit of banter to the town on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
I am very grateful to have a close connection with Audio Venom and have done since they re-launched their nightlife events in High Wycombe back in the beginning of 2018.
Photographing this was the most fun I’ve had going out photographing in a while and I feel like I have definitely got my mojo back from a rather uninspiring quarantine period.
